Invite them to your ceremony!

Have you wondered what excellent customer experience looks like? If yes, that makes two of us!

As a first step, we could start by inviting them to our team ceremony. Yes! its not outrageous to invite your customer to your standup. Considering that the team can now get immediate feedback and managers can focus less on translating and interpreting.

If you are worried about religiously following the 15 minutes time-box, bridging the endless hours of communication should be one less thing to worry.

Imagine the advantage of bringing the visibility to how the customer perceives your product and empower the teams to have a clear ownership. Is it worth saving the religious ceremony ?

Now if you still not convinced, lets see who else we can invite. I couldn't explain it any better than Chris Ward's article on bringing internal stakeholders closer to your team.

If you want to reduce unnecessary meetings don't just invite, make sure they attend your standups religiously!

I plan to continue this series to uncover excellent customer experience.
